Children's Resource Library

The ABCD's Children's Library now has more than 1000 volumes, among them books, videos, CD-Roms and games in Portuguese for ages zero to teen.

It is open to members weekly on Thursdays from 4 to 6pm at Forestville Public School , Darley St, Forestville. Items must be returned within two weeks.

Members can also borrow items via post or friends. Check out the library list (available soon), and then send a request (maximum two items at a time) together with a large self-stamped and self-addressed envelope to: ABCD Library, PO Box 573, Forestville 2087. Please check postage with Australia Post - we recommend a pre-paid satchel up to 250 grams. Borrowing period by post is three weeks. You may also ask the librarian (email below) to hand the items to a teacher or a friend. Please note responsibility for the borrowed items rests with the person who ordered them. Please forgive us if the items you have chosen are out when ordered. They'll be sent as soon as available.

Donations of children's items in Portuguese are always welcome. Please contact the librarian to arrange pick-up/delivery.
