Children’s Day Picnic – What a lovely afternoon
The Children’s Day picnic was great fun, aided by lovely weather and live music in the park! Thanks to all those who came and helped and to Joana Mendes (and hubby Jason) for organising it and making it possible, and Brazilian Style Foods for the lovely raffle prize. Check out the photos here.

SEMINAR: BILINGUALISM – AN OPEN DOOR TO THE WORLD
The ABCD held a very informative seminar on Saturday May 24 in Harbord, Sydney, aimed at helping families conquer the challenges of bilingual upbringing. With the support of the Brazilian Consulate General some 80 guests together with experts and educators were able to share their experiences and tips. Thanks to all who participated and made the event possible. You can see some of the speeches delivered on the day here.

The 2007 End-of-Year Concert was held at Fort St Public School, The Rocks on Dec 2. It was fantastic to see our students and members singing, dancing and reciting on stage with their families watching on. We saw several tears rolling down some faces! Check some of the moments here.
